The Sun West School Division acknowledges that we are on Treaty 6 and Treaty 4 territories. This land that we share has long been home to the Cree, Saulteaux, Nakoda, Lakota, Dakota Peoples and the Metis.
We who live on, learn from and care for this land and water recognize the ancestors who have walked before us as well as the generations to come. We make this acknowledgement as an act of reconciliation to reaffirm our relationship to one another.
We are committed to learning together.
Saskatchewan Education Week is a great time to highlight student achievement, engagement and well-being. This year it is November 24-30. Last year students at Rossville School in Coleville celebrated Education Week in a spectacular manner!.
Sun West students achieve amazing results in many areas including academics, sports and other extracurricular activities. Every year, students at Davidson School are contenders in the Provincial Heritage Fair.
At Sun West, students can get real-world experience through work placements. Rebecca Possberg of Loreburn Central School did her work placement at CTV Studios in Saskatoon.
