Lucky Lake students gain national attention

Grades 1 and 2 students from Lucky Lake School show their Olympic spirit

The Olympic spirit of Grades 1 and 2 students in Lucky Lake School recently caught the attention of the national media.

The students’ enthusiasm attracted the attention of Saskatoon-born CBC Sports Reporter Devin Heroux who Tweeted the picture out on social media stating:

“Continue to get letters and photos from parents, students and Team Canada fans from across the country. This is a Grade 1 and 2 class from Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan. Showing their CA Youth Olympic Spirit with their posters. Where sporting dreams begin!”
