Bus driver retires after 41 years on the road

The staff and students of North West Central School (NWCS) in Plenty want to extend their best wishes for a happy retirement to Pat Richards! After an amazing 41 years, Pat retired from driving the Ruthilda area bus route this June. She was on the job long enough that she drove all four of her own children to school. She was the friendly face that our students knew well not only because of her bus driving but also because with her husband, she owned P and C Foods in Plenty. She would pick up students and bring them to school then run the store, then pick students up and take them home. Pat worked long hours with her two jobs but always with a smile on her face and Pat's bus would run despite snow, rain, fog, mud and ice. Pat is now enjoying a well-deserved rest. Thanks for everything and happy retirement Pat!
