Sun West offers a variety of programs and services for its schools, students and parents that contribute to students becoming successful, happy and well-rounded individuals.
Information in this section of the website covers curriculum supports for students in line with the Ministry of Education's Student First directions. This is where regular, modified, alternative and functionally integrated programming information can be found. The section also includes information about Safe and Caring Schools, English as an Additional Language, Wellness Supports and additional resources.
Sun West Student Support Services personnel include the Supervisor of Health and Well-being, Child and Youth Counsellors, Educational Psychologists, an Addictions Educator, Speech and Language Pathologists, Student Support Consultants and an Occupational Therapist. This experienced and dedicated team provides Sun West students with a full-range of professional services to help them with any issues that may arise that could impact their education. The Student Support Services team cooperates with school administrators, teachers, support staff and parents to support students and ensure: “Success for all."
