4 Kenaston School student Isabelle Zdunich placed second in her category among
several dozen competitors in the First Nations Spelling Bee, held on March 18
The First Nations Spelling Bee is a national competition that started in 2015. Students who win at provincial and regional matches go to Toronto for a final in May.
Isabelle competed in the Junior category (ages nine to eleven) and won a trophy and a cash prize for placing second.
Congratulations Isabelle! We are all proud of you!
