Student Artwork Contest


The Sun West Student Artwork Contest is back for another year. The winning selections will be displayed at the Sun West Division Office in Rosetown. Winners will also receive a certificate of recognition and a gift certificate.

Categories:

Prekindergarten - Grade 3
Grades 4-6
Grades 7-9
Grades 10-12

Deadline:

December 2, 2023

Requirements:

Artwork must be hand-drawn on 11 X 17 paper and depict life in the Sun West School Division and its communities.
Drawings may be in ink, colour pencil or pen, chalk, charcoal or paint.
Entries must include student first and last name, grade and school (in pencil on the back of the artwork)
Please do not submit artwork that have been created through digital art programs, traced manually or by using technology, or are three-dimensional or include embellishments.

The 2022-23 Contest

The art of the first and second place winners from last year's contest in each category are currently displayed on canvas in the Division Office and presentation ceremonies were held at the schools of all the winners. In addition the classes of all the winners received a pizza party as well.
