West Central Team Takes Gold at Provincial Golf

Congratulations to the West Central Senior Girls Golf Team! They won Gold at the Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association (SHSAA)Provincial Tournament at the Northern Meadows Golf Club near Pierceland on September 24-25.

The Senior Girls team, which consisted of Claire Kosolofski and Ayla Stevens of Kindersley Composite School, Chloe Wills of Kyle Composite School, and Morgan Chabot of the Lutheran Collegiate Bible Institute in Outlook, earned the to four top scores among senior female players in the West Central District Golf tournament held earlier in the year.

At provincials, team scores are based on the top two scores for each hole from each team for females, and the top three scores for males.  West Central Senior Girls had the lowest scores and won gold this year! 

Congratulations also goes to Chloe Wills for winning individual Gold at the West-Central District Tournament and individual Silver at Provincials.

The West Central Senior Boys Team came in tenth in provincials and consisted of Alex Phillips, Ethan King, and Brody Harris of Outlook High School and Hudson Mathers of Eston Composite School.

Also at the West Central District tournament Kallie Bacon of Kindersley Composite School placed first among junior girls, and among junior boys, Eli Hundeby of Loreburn Central School placed first, and Cullen Stephenson of Outlook High School placed second. The Davidson School Junior Golf Team consisting of Nevan Diakow, Ellary Doell, Hinton Herback, Black Manz, Brooke Manz, and Keenan Williams were the winning team at West Central Districts.
