Sun West students are always very successful in earning scholarships and awards. In 2024 and 2023, three Sun West students received prestigious Chancellor's Scholarships, which cover the full cost of four years of university. Must have been a member of the SHA for at least three years and planning to attend school in Saskatchewan.

James Lee Foundation

Due by September 15

$5000

Open to emerging creative talent planning to enter the advertising industry. Must submit a creative portfolio.

Dr. Stewart Holmes Health Care Scholarship

Due by September 15

Students from the Dr. Holmes' practicing area may apply (including Brock, Eatonia, Eston, Elrose, Kindersley, and Kyle).

Must be accepted into a full time health care field at a university or technical institution to be eligible to apply

Ted Rogers Legacy Scholarship

Due by September 20

Awards between $10,000 and $25,000

For students pursuing technology related careers and attending the following institutions: Polytechnique Montréal, Toronto Metropolitan University, University of British Columbia, University of Calgary, University of New Brunswick, and the University of Waterloo.

SGI Scholarships

Due by September 30

SGI offers a number of scholarships and awards for students who are pursuing careers in a number of fields and coming from various backgrounds.

United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) of Canada

Eighteen awards of $1000 each.

Canadian Western Agribition Scholarship

TD Scholarships for Community Leaders

Twenty awards valued to a maximum of $70,000

Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to making a difference in their communities.
