Saskatchewan Agriculture Week is Coming

October 5-10 is Agriculture Week in Saskatchewan. During Ag Week, the industry works together to tell their food story through events, activities and online campaigns. Through these interactions, we hope to help people better understand how Saskatchewan farmers and ranchers raise their animals and grow their crops, while engaging in authentic conversations with people from around the province.

We encourage everyone to #CelebrateAg, all through the year, but especially during Agriculture Week!

This October 5th-11th, join Sun West and Farm and Food Care to #CelebrateAg! The challenge is to help tell Saskatchewan’s food story, from our SUN WESTBACKYARD to the world, by showing how local gardeners, bee keepers, grain farmers, cattle ranchers etc. grow crops and care for animals, and why that matters. 

Farm and Food Care hosts a photo challenge to celebrate agriculture in all its facets throughout the province. The photo contest will run throughout the month of October. Start collecting your favourite images now! Watch for the contest opening on October 1.
