Canadian Student Leadership Conference Application submissions are now open for Students and Advisors from Sun West School Division.
The Canadian Student Leadership Conference is going to be in Haliburton, Ontario from October 3 to October 7, 2025.

Every year the Sun West Board of Education provides financial support towards subsidizing advisor and student fees to take part in the Canadian Student Leadership Conference.
This opportunity is open to students who are registered in Grades 9- 12 next school year. (This is per CSLC policy). The Board of Education is extremely supportive of leadership opportunities for all students.
Advisor interest is growing, and this would be a great opportunity to build leadership among staff advisors while also experiencing the conference along side a delegation of Sun West Student Leaders.
A selection committee has been established along with criteria and requirements. Preference may be given to advisors who have not received Board funding to attend a CSLC event in the last two years. This is not meant to discourage anyone from applying, but designed to provide for those who may not have had the opportunity to attend this event in the past.
If you wish to apply to be a board sponsored advisor, please submit an application via email to kristy.huck@sunwestsd.ca by April 17, 2025 at 4:00 pm.
Students are encouraged to connect with their school Principal about their intentions to ensure support for their involvement should you be selected.
Please also share this information with any students who are interested and will be registered in Grades 9-12 in the 2025-2026 school year.
