SchoolMessenger
For the past several years, Sun West has utilized an electronic message deliver service called SwiftK12 to communicate with parent/caregivers. SwiftK12 is no longer in operation, so Sun West has adopted a new service called SchoolMessenger.
Like SwiftK12, SchoolMessenger will allow Sun West and Sun West schools to text, email, and phone parent/caregivers with important messages. This will include attendance alerts by text.
Parent/caregivers must give SchoolMessenger permission before they will be allowed to receive texts from Sun West and Sun West schools. To get this permission parent/caregivers will be texted the following message:
"Sun West School Div 207 messages. Reply Y to confirm, HELP 4 info. Msg&datarates may apply. Msg freq varies. schoolmessenger.com/tm"
When a parent/caregiver receives this message – they should Reply Y as indicated. By doing so they are opting in to receive future texts from Sun West and Sun West schools through SchoolMessenger.
Anyone who does not reply Y will not receive texts.
Please contact the Administrative Assistant at your children’s school if you have any questions.
