OHS Miyo-Wîcêhtowin Group Visits Canadian Museum for Human Rights

Miyo-Wîcêhtowin (Cree for Living in Harmony) is a group of students at Outlook High School (OHS) who work to promote respect for diversity and inclusion. They were formed in 2021 when a group of OHS students attended Miyo-Wîcêhtowin Day in Regina, which was a Truth and Reconciliation event being held as part of Orange Shirt Day.

Since then Miyo-Wîcêhtowin has been very active at OHS and in the fall of 2024 the group made the trip to Winnipeg where they visited the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the gravesite of Louis Riel, Qaumajug, an Inuit Art Museum, and Feast Café Bistro, an Indigenous restaurant.
