Rossville School in Coleville held a PowerPlay: Youth Entrepreneurship market on Tuesday, February 11.
The PowerPlay: Youth Entrepreneurs program gives students the opportunity to build their own businesses, develop their own products and sell them to their fellow students, their parent/caregivers and the general public. Click here for more information on PowerPlay.
Rossville students were challenged to “pitch” their businesses to four local judges who marked them following the PowerPlay criteria. The student with the highest score overall was Abel Benjaminson (grade 4) with X’s and O’s on the Go!
There was a great turnout from the community and everyone enjoyed themselves. It was a great opportunity for the younger students to learn from the older students, and for the older students to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.
