Three Sun West students Published in Windscript Magazine

Congratulations to Dinsmore Composite School graduate, Abigail Friesen, and Rosetown Central High School students, Tari Wenzel and Jan Nasibog, who have their stories and poems published in the most recent edition of Windscript.

Windscript is an annual publication of the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild. It has been publishing the best of original writing from Saskatchewan high school students since 1983. Through Windscript, the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild supports fresh, original work by student writers. Each year, the magazine publishes stories and poems written by Saskatchewan high school students.

Abigail graduated from Dinsmore Composite School this year and had also had work published in Windscript in 2023. This edition features her poem “Today.”

Jan is in Grade 12 at Rosetown Central High School. This edition features her poem “On Land There is None Devoted.”

Tari is also a Grade 12 student at Rosetown Central High School. This edition features her prose “Once Upon a Time.”

In each of these stories and poems, the authors show they are very thoughtful and creative, and they also demonstrate courage in revealing something about themselves.
