RAVE a Smash Success!

Congratulations to Loreburn Central School students and staff who partnered with Loreburn Recreation Board to host the 15th Annual Senior Girls Really Amazing Volleyball Event (RAVE) on September 5-6, 2024.

During RAVE, 16 teams with over 210 athletes and coaches competed in more than 70 games. Games were held in both the Loreburn Central School Gym and the Loreburn Rink both which were a hive of activity for the two days of the tournament.

Competing teams were: Kenatson/Loreburn Junior Varsity and Senior Varsity, Outlook Blues, Plenty Wildcats, Lutheran Bible Collegiate Institute Lady Bisons (two teams), Beechy Blazers, Davidson Raiders, Mossbank Prairie Lightning, Elrose/Dinsmore/Kyle Eagles, Cabri Cougars, Biggar Blazers, Saskatoon Ecole Canadienne-Francaise Patriotes, Delise Rebels, Kindersley Kobras, and Lucky Lake A's.

Congratulations go to the Plenty Wildcats who walked away with Gold from the tournament and the host Kenaston/Loreburn Senior Varsity who captured Silver. Kindersley Kobras won bronze and the Kenaston/Loreburn Junior Varsity came away with the consolation prize.
